Hello I’m Ashley!

It’s so nice to meet you!
Mountain Belle Blog is a lovely place to find homemaking and homesteading tips and tricks, homeschooling resource recommendations, inspirational posts, my handmade jewelry, links to good finds online, and whatever else comes to my mind!
My husband Danny and I have aspirations to live on our own land and maybe build a house someday. The economy being what it is right now, we have learned to be content in our single wide mobile home on rented land until we can save enough to pursue our homesteading dreams! I am determined to be a good steward of what God has given us and learn what I can so that I am equipped to handle bigger blessings someday. I have been learning to turn our mobile home into a palace for my family, one thrift find at a time! I’ve taught myself to make sourdough bread, diy several projects in our house and to take care of my garden and chickens! As my children get older, I hope to teach them all of the things I have learned so that they can participate in our family’s endeavors!
I am here to share with you things I have learned on the way and to hopefully inspire you to charge head on toward your dreams. Do the thing, google it, youtube it, ask a friend or family member for help and don’t be afraid to start!

About Me
I am a small town gal and have lived in Western Montana most of my life. I was homeschooled all the way through with my two younger brothers…bless my mother, hehe! We moved a lot when I was growing up, but my dad tried to make sure we had chickens wherever he could!
I have always been very entrepreneurial and I’m so thankful to my parents for nurturing that interest in my life. I was that homeschool nerd selling handmade jewelry at the end of my driveway all summer. Before I knew it, I had an etsy shop at 14 and have had various small business endeavors since then.
If you come to my home, you will see many started projects at once, old and quirky thrift finds, a ridiculous amount of mugs, and just overall fun and fancy combined!
I love learning new things and hope to be able to share some of that here!
